2017 New Product of the Year

2017 was a great year for new products, and our selections have a real variety: a new BeagleBone robotics controller, a Texas Instruments evaluation module for displays, a Cypress kit purpose-built for IoT, and more. Check out the selections below, or leave your own suggestion in the comments!

  • I'm not voting because I don't rate any of these as anywhere near being the new product of 2017. Most are just re-hashes of old stuff, the pico projector is newish  but really just a smaller version of existing stuff.

     

    My picks would include:

    STM32H7xxxx - really fast (400MHz) Cortex M processor (from ST)

    ICE40UP5k - tiny low power FPGA (Lattice)

    RTB2004 - Oscilloscope from Rohde & Schwarz
