Your base OS for development or your favourite Workbench OS!

i recently had a good long argument on using Windows or Linux Os for development. I am a serious Windows 10 fanboy. So I just wanted to know how many use Linux, Windows 10 and MacOS.

I know these OS's are un-comparable but I just want to show my friends the voting down by real engineers of this community!

All those voting I would also love to hear why you love the OS and how it differs itself from others.

I continue to use my Windows 7 Pro OS. I was never a fan of the later versions of Windows and I use too many programs that I could not find availables for Linux.

If you're a professional then you should be capable and comfortable with both Windows and Linux. By all means have a preference for one or the other, but don't make the mistake of thinking anyone else…

Great, so there are some serious Windows 7 users! I know some hate the way windows 10 updates itself!

Am stuck with windows 10 for its many new features such as auto diver installation through updates and many more!.

Probably you didn't seriously look for Linux alternatives for your Windows applications. LOL.

Don't get me wrong, but I have developed software for many commercial products/systems on UNIX and Linux.  I actually prefer UNIX/Linux OS to Window any day.  But I seriously do have older software/hardware that will only run on Windows (or DOS).
