Arduino vs Raspberry PI

We all recognize both platforms to be very good. Some of us fans of Arduino , Some of us fans of Raspberry.. There are even some that enjoy using both. I think this poll would help in assisting new enthusiasts in deciding what works for them. Please tell us which platform you like to use or favor and why..

The 2 platforms are quite different even though there are many variants of each. Clearly there are many different applications where one or the other would be much better suited to the task. Generally…

I would vote for "I enjoy using both". Because they server different purposes. I will never use A RPi if the problem can be done by an Arduino. Second thing - I used to use a lot of Arduino in the past…

mikelynn Great question. I'm sure that you'll get a lot of "It depends on the project" answers. For most of us, one is a gateway to the other. And welcome to the community. There are a ton of super smart…

Hummm I didn't vote but felt a comment was more appropriate. Microcontroller vs microprocessor. I have used both. I focus primarily on Raspberry Pi. Not that it is better but rather my limited mental capacity for investment. I wish my facilities could support what it did twenty years ago but alas it is proven not the capable. I focus on the Pi but known it is overkill for some of the projects.

I have to laugh, none of the self help memory book work.

It is frustrating getting to the basement and ng to remember why I went there. It the multitasking thing I think. From the main floor to the basement is at least ten seconds. If I use the ten seconds to think about it maybe a solution to the conflict in the middle east might come to me. Oh, why did I go downstairs again?
