IDE to be used in Infineon XMC MCU development.

There are types of selection on choosing IDE for embedded development. But for Infineon XMC series, library compatibility and availability of demo examples shall be taken into acount.

Question :

Which IDE to be used in Infineon XMC MCU development.

I am porting XMC4200 in arduino library. If that is OK. That would add more weight on Arduino.

This topic is about Infineon XMC only.

I have assumed the Arduino is better and tried migrating Arduino for XMC4200. Interesting, but not easy, even fail to complete the design in time.

Special MCU like XMC with unique Motor control like CCU4 and POSIG should choose IDE carefully before action.

Are you asking which IDE you should use or which IDE members would use?

If it is for you, what is your budget? How often would this platform be used for development? What complexity of application would you use it for?

If you have just simple applications and no budget, go with Arduino.
