What is your favorite 3-pin connector - to use in your projects?

I have migrated to different favorites over the years and I like lots of different connectors for different reasons and different applications, but at any given time I could probably always pick a favorite.

I am always looking for better solutions, so please explain why you like a particular connector in the comments.

I voted other, I can't have a favorite connector - it would be like having a favorite telephone number I use whatever is suitable. For tiny things I use Molex PicoBlade (or clones) - small (1.25mm pitch…

I use a wide variety of connectors, including all of the connector choices offered in your poll. Each design is motivated by its requirements and hence the need for multiple connector solutions.

I voted for JST only because I use them a lot, although admittedly mostly in 2 or 4 pin versions for batteries and sensors.  A lot of dev boards use Grove or QWIIC connections in 2mm or 1mm pitch.

I use DuPont connectors for testing or prototyping, but they don’t have reliable retention for final build.

    I don’t really have a favorite - just use what’s most appropriate.

I use a lot of .1" pitch MTA connectors because it is much faster to make cables than with Dupont connectors and they have an excellent friction lock that provides much more reliable connection even in heavy vibration environments, and the are polarized.

I would like to use more JST connectors when space is tight, but my crimper is far from ideal at handling JST contacts.
