What is your favorite 3-pin connector - to use in your projects?

I have migrated to different favorites over the years and I like lots of different connectors for different reasons and different applications, but at any given time I could probably always pick a favorite.

I am always looking for better solutions, so please explain why you like a particular connector in the comments.

I voted other, I can't have a favorite connector - it would be like having a favorite telephone number I use whatever is suitable. For tiny things I use Molex PicoBlade (or clones) - small (1.25mm pitch…

I use a wide variety of connectors, including all of the connector choices offered in your poll. Each design is motivated by its requirements and hence the need for multiple connector solutions.

I use a lot of .1" pitch MTA connectors because it is much faster to make cables than with Dupont connectors and they have an excellent friction lock that provides much more reliable connection even in heavy vibration environments, and the are polarized.

I would like to use more JST connectors when space is tight, but my crimper is far from ideal at handling JST contacts.

Samples can be a lifesaver. Samtec is also great for samples. They have .1" pitch header strips among their many products, in case the Dupont users haven't heard of them.

I still use wire-wrap quite a bit. It has a lot of great features - I am surprised more makers don't use wire-wrap - it can be so much easier than point-to-point soldering.
