How do you rate new badges on Element 14

I know it is only about a month since the new badges have been introduced, but I though a little poll would be nice.

Some of the badges have been retired. Thankfully those that earned them, keep them.

Since you can only show three at a time, what's the point of accumulating dozens of badges?  I guess you could show your best three and strive to replace them, but it's not like merit badges where you can keep adding them to your sash.

When I think of lots of badges, I think of Die Bergkatze (The Mountain Cat or The Wildcat), Ernst Lubitsch's 1921 satire of military and mountain films, starring the great Pola Negri in the title role.  The Kommandant of the mountain fortress proudly wears his many dozens of medals, which cover his chest and run down his sleeves and pant legs.  Hilarious movie -- I've never seen a film take itself less seriously.  The Kino DVD is good, but I saw it with live music and it was phenomenal.
