Hello, I recently started putting together a diy spot welder made from microwave oven transformer and while I was waiting for some parts to be delivered I pretty much had the spot welder working and ready to put in the case I was going to use. So the unit was welding just fine but when i received the yxky welding pen I connected it and for a while I didn’t realize why the unit stopped working it just won’t weld and instead of making the unit better it completely did the opposite i completely dismantled it and couldn’t figure out what happened so I disconnected the trigger relay and plugged it directly to the transformer and it’s very strong spark but when I connect it back with the relay it just stops welding! Can anyone give me some advice on how to get it working if not I guess I can just use the welding pen without the relay and connect the separate trigger switch? Please help!
