the web page only adds the ability to submit a random user provided message to the topic, nothing more

the client subscribed to the topic (Well there's two of them) perform actions depending on who they see, but no maps im afraid

Ah, a web page. I was expecting a paper map with LEDs. Bet the page will look like a map with names/areas appearing when someone is online.
