Ah, MATLAB. A timeless launguage for sure. Initially released in 1984 and still running strong with the latest stable release just a few days ago. How many other things can you think of from that era that are still getting updated? Certaintly not VAX/OpenVMS (RIP, 1977-2010), Pascal (OK, so people still use Delphi and stuff, but it is pretty much dead), and others.
