Need some help with arduino

Hellow guys, after watching tutorials and videos, about creating a new arduino coutdown with buttons, i found nothing so i can use, i am very new at this, all i want is a tutorial or something similar


i need something that has a button so players can hold for a amount of seconds so that they can wait to respawn.

At the same time i need it to have a screen with an amount of tickets left for the team, each player when respawn takes 1 ticket. 

Also need 2 buttons so we can increase/decrease  the amount of seconds to hold for player to respawn

and the numbers of tickets

Also need to have sound alarm ( pc speaker or same ) that sounds a alarm when tickets are down to 0

 

 

Button A - this is what players hold so that they can respawn ( hold for X amount of time ) Example : 5 secs hold - you can see a bar loading until you are alive again

 

Button 1 - increase time that players need to hold so that they can respawn / increase number of total tickets when u  are setting up  match

 

Button 2 - decrease time that players need to hold so that they can respawn / descrease number of total tickets when u are setting up match

 

Screen - when in menu setting the game  - select amount tickets  more/less  - select amount secconds so players have to hold so respawn / at the same time ticket needs to drop by 1 , each  respawn ( revive ) - select sound on/ off   - when tickets get to 0 , screen shows NO RESPAWN LEFT , GOOD LUCK  and reset to menu

 

Sound - Alarma sounds when number of tickets get to 0 for 5 seconds and off

    Thank you guys for all answers, i am actually learning arduino, i managed to learn button states and now im rolling to button to lcd prints , Thank you all again

    How are your project(s) going. I know motivation can be hard if you get lost. But keep trying. It is the mistakes we make that we learn the most from. C

    you need to start by simply creating programs that just read buttons and let you know if they are detected, this involves simple input statements

     

    then look at display drivers (Google "Night Rider and Arduino" for example), this will rovide plenty of examples driving LEDS etc, or look at using NEO Pixels and ADAFRUIT has plenty of tutorials for that

     

    Then as you learn the skills needed for all these besic programs, you can start putting them together to create somthing unique and in this case, you game controller

     

    Your task for a medium to seasoned programmer is pretty basic  but you will find that most folks wont simply do it for you, they will help looking at your code to help debug, suggest ways to interface buttons and other IO devices etc and we will help alot where it is helping, and not simply doing it for you

     

    So as sugested, look to the basic learning tutorials that come with the arduino IDE, work your way through them then extend to other tutorials (I even have a few on this forum you can watch

    its a bit beyond the basics but there is a lot there and you will find plenty more in this community

    Hello, Adrian Tudor, I seems that you have committed a worrisome problem with the button and way not familiar with usage of Buttons. well you can have a look at the Crowtail button  and there are five colors for you to choose from. Or you can have a look for more detail in Crowtail- Button - Elecrow, may this can help you!
