RGB LED Shield diagrams for documentation purposes

For those creating projects with the RGB LED ShieldRGB LED Shield, hopefully these images can come in handy.

They are attached to the bottom of this post in two versions - white background and transparent background.

I can't take credit for the Arduino Uno diagram, I found that on the Internet (not sure of the original source, it was in many places - and just edited it slightly).

    Hi Parker, Can you try the program called RGBLED_2_SAFE.ino ? I tried that, with LEDs connected to the red channel only, and they worked, see the post here: RGB LED Shield from Infineon - Getting Started…

    Yes that file did not seem to have anything to hookup to. But shabaz 's Inkscape file worked once I deleted the big white rectangle from it.

    I do not beleive there is a minimum current limit for the Infineon board, it is simply the set constant current in the demo sketch, the board is actually programable for almost any current up to the MAX…

    (I've attached the svg from Inkscape now too - this was based on an import into Inkscape of the .emf file. It can be resized, ungrouped etc - I just tried).

    Hi Andy,

     

    I've attached a vector format zipped up (windows .emf format) which the Windows version of Inkscape can import (not sure about Linux if you're using that - I can attach the file imported into Inkscape if needed, let me know).

    Normally I use PowerPoint to create these diagrams, mainly because I'm faster with that than Inkscape (I don't use fritzing but I can still see the need for the diagrams to simplify stuff, so I tend to draw it all in PowerPoint). (I personally think Inkscape is great for art stuff, but PowerPoint snapping of objects is way nicer than the Inkscape implementation - perfect for diagrams).

    Sorry, LOL.  I didn't try it.  Glad I prefaced it with "experimental".  Hopefully shabaz can save us from this conversion nightmare. Hehe.

    It did create something but it's a bit freaky so would be easier to create from scratch (i.e. tracing) than to use that file.
