Hi guys, I'm doing a arduino uno project recently. And i was wondering if i can use a solar charge controller to power my arduino?
I recently did a setup for my raspberry pi with mine I have a 200ah battery bank with it and only a 20w panel but with its only 8w usage on the pi its still able to charge the batteries up fully during the day until I get a bigger panel then on to adding more things. so if there is no usb on the controller, a simple you can put 12v to it tho but might consume more power and I would watch the power usage on it. or run 12 - 5v stepdown. if able to run off the 5v you might be better but thats only if using a uno. personally I would run at both and see which runs with less power consumption.
