Finding a cheap EEG or BCI solution with arduino

Hi there, to begin with I am sorry if it's not the right place to start this discussion I am new to this community.

Here's the situation : I am a computer science student but I recently started getting very interested in electronics, I bought the arduino super starter kit, I have 2 raspberry pi  (zero w and 3 b) and I discovered thanks to youtube videos that some people managed to manipulate stuff (LEDs, video games...) with their brain using an EEG helmet. I became fascinated that this is actually a possibility for anyone to work with and not just researchers or specialist, and so here I am obsessed with the idea to make a simple project using whatever kind of EEG in order to control something with my brain. The problem is, the more I research this possibility on the internet, the more I realize that this is hella expensive especially for options I don't need (I only need something that indicates if I concentrate hard or relax in order to manipulate something and most of the products allow you to detect a lot of different data for stuff like if you are very relax, sleep, muscle movement or whatever that I don't need for a little project).

What I want : a solution as cheap as possible that would allow me to make a small project of controlling LEDs or whatever with my brain, that doesn't require me too much skills to make (I'm still new to hardware and electronics) and if possible with some explanations or details of how to make.

My range of price would be up to 120 euros. Above that I don't think I would be ready to spend it for a small personnal project. (I looked up openBCI which seems awesome but way too expensive for me, Neurosky I'm considering their helmet but It was 150 euros with free shipping, and most of the other stuff I saw was just too expensive. There's also some thesis on how to make an eeg for like 30 euros but I'm afraid it would be too hard for me.)

Thank you very much if you read all this and could give me some advices. (:
