Forum at Arduino.cc

Can I hear the distant sound of swearing and muttering in an Italian server room somewhere - 'why didn't we just leave it alone?'

I miss the old forum. This one seems empty without the GrumpyMike's, DeSilva and AWOLs of this world!

Has anyone had any news about when its going to be back up?

Si

I've been noticing a LOT of web forums changing to the new format.. I don't think it's just arduino.cc alone.. the new software that's out there, seems to be more of an attempt to be flashier, and appealing. (But, to whom?)

Well, yes, the triumph of presentation over content is a common problem these days.

I think the new Arduino.cc forum is better than the old, mainly because of the better organised categories, but you could do that without the facelift.

Anyway, its good to have a choice, so I'll stay with this one too.
