Can I hear the distant sound of swearing and muttering in an Italian server room somewhere - 'why didn't we just leave it alone?'

I miss the old forum. This one seems empty without the GrumpyMike's, DeSilva and AWOLs of this world!

Has anyone had any news about when its going to be back up?

Humm. If the arduino.cc forum ever comes back up again, put a post on.

I'll lurk here too - I like Farnell, mainly because you publish all the datasheets for your components. I also include your product codes for the parts used in my books.

- But when it comes down to it, the arduino.cc forum will grumble a lot and then we will resolutely fail to vote with our feet!

Sounds like every forum I know..bitter vet syndrom I believe is the term! It would be good to have someone of your experience here, and you may find some refreshing enthusiasm from newer hobbyists to restore your faith in human nature!
