Arduino based RGB LED Array (aka WordClock)

Hi Folks,

My first post here. Have been dabbling in Arduino since some time now. I'm an Electronic Engineer, but have not had any formal background in Microcontrollers, so its been quite a learning experience working on the Arduino.

I've made several projects, which I'll post later. Right now, me and my friend Justin, are working on the C3 - an Arduino friendly RGB LED Array consisting of 16x10 RGB LEDs + 16x2 Mono LEDs. That's a total of 192 individually addressable LEDs.

You can find details about our project at this link :

Project Website :

you can find lots of pictures and videos on the Project website and on Picassa :

We raised funding via KickStarter :

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks.

Yeah, EMSL's cool Peggy was an inspiration. We also created our own version of the ChronoDot for this project. And as I write this, C3 boards have arrived , and I'm looking forward to plunge into the build.

    Cheers,
