3D printers

and it should be about $400.

I'm gonna start a little investigation to see how hard it would actually be to build one youself and if anyone if familiar with this please explain the stuff.

Hi R,

For a solid starting point, the kit looks reasonably priced to me. The RepRap design is a proven product and they also provide the software. All in all, not a bad deal if you are just getting started in 3D printing. I have looked at this design, their newer models and a number of competitors. While the price looks high, you get a solid printer. Yes they could sell it for less, but they are also building bigger and better prototypes and I for one think they have earned the right to make a little extra since they have brought 3D printing to an average person.

Just my opinion.

I agree, with some calibration this is a pretty decent 3d printer and its gonna be about $700 with the shipping-wich is a great deal for a 3D PRINTER
