hello,

i am new to the use of arduino, and have some questions about the ESP 03

,

1>How does it work

2>are the GPIO pins in ESP 03 like the data pins on a transmitter reciever.

through which we can send/recieve  data ?

3>do the GPIO pins behave like channels in transmitter reciever,,,,???

    Hi Ashuman,

The board behaves like a microcontroller (it has a microcontroller on-board).

You can write a program or script for it, to control those pins or to read signal levels from those pins.

It doesn't behave like some type of automatic wire - to - wireless modem/translater,

not unless it is programmed to behave like that.

The wireless is 802.11 (WiFi), and on top of that there are many protocols, including UDP or

TCP on top of that. That is under control of your user program which you have to upload

    to the microcontroller.

It is actually not as hard as it sounds, but needs some reading up, Adafruit/Sparkfun

have some tutorials as I understand (but there are lots via google, these are

    just an example).
