Information/Advice in Arduino, for Beginners

Hi guys,

I have been looking around the discussion boards, for any information and advice for beginners that are just starting out in this field. However, i felt overwhelmed and lost at the same time. I was hoping to find information, like what boards there are or what shields to get, for someone who is interested in the system.

Hopefully the people posting in this thread will help anyone who are interested in starting to experiment with the arduino foundation.

You can also purchase a beginner kit from them.

Hi!

As Nico said a good starting point is Arduino's official website, in particular the "Learning", "Reference" and "Playground" sections.

A book I think could be very helpful is "Arduino cookbook".
