I did it.

I finally figured out why the official Arduino web site is arduino.cc after watching and listening to Massimo Banzi present a project called the Love-O-Meter.  The only normal way to say the name of the web site in English is arduino dot cee cee which to the Italian trained (tuned) ear is Ardiuno dot Si Si  which means Arduino dot Yes Yes,  I would call that cross language auditory sublimation of a positive reinforcement.  What would you call it?

If you are interested, the Love-O-Meter project uses a temperature chip TMP36 which is the same as  LM335 Precision Temperature Sensor -40C TO 100C IC available from Tayda for USD 0.81 each.

Actually, no. It means "Creative Commons".

I must admit that you seem to be correct but not because it is in wiki as no authoritative source is sited.

I found is in the arduino discussion board: http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,2209.0.html and it support your position.  congrats.
