Hi there!
I'm a 28 year old guy from Norway. I have very little practical knowledge of electronics ( but have a bachelor degree in both mathematics and physics so I'm somewhat technical)
I have a project which I think is pretty realistic, which I'm now going to explain. Any input would be very much appriciated.
I want to automate a panorama timelapse. My DSLR is going to stand verically on my tripod, I then want to create a system that rorates the camera quickly (should be changeable according to exposure time) three or for steps with an angle a little less than the angle of the lense. (I want a little overlap)
The system shal send a signal to the DSLR camera to take a picture in each of the postions, then rotate back to starting position, wait a certain amount of seconds (which should be changeable by the user), then repeat the process indefinitely.
I am completely new to Arduino so I need advice for which one to buy and what other components would be needed.
I guess a DC stepper motor would be necesarry? which type? how much torque?
