Ok... For the first time in ages I attempted soldering and circuitry... I tried hooking up an LCD to my Arduino, only problem is that there ain't no text showing up on the screen :\ it has power I'm pretty certain as the backlight lights up and the contrast works because I can make the lines change darness but thats the issue... I can tell contrast works because when I change it the first row of 16 goes completly black (the 16 squares that is).. I'm not 100% confident with either my soldering or my circuitry, if the given issue is happening what are the likely culprits?..
