I have been having fun with my new Arduino(Mega 2560 and a starter kit) lately, but I don't have any sensors. I want to get an IR sensor and a Photoresistor, but what are some other must haves? Specific names are appreciated!
To give you an idea of what I'd like to be able to do at some point, I want to build a picture frame that displays a static image until you walk by it and it begins playing a looped cinema graph. I'd also like to create a weather balloon or something similar in the furture. What kinds of sensors do I need? Does this require some kind of extra shield?
