human location detection

I WANT TO DETECT THE LOCATION OF A HUMAN IN A PATICULAT FIELD OF VIEW USING ARDUINO BY REAL TIME IMAGING.WAT SHOULD I DO AND WHICH SENSORS SHOULD I GO FOR?

  • I think you will probably need to provide a little more detail to get a complete answer, like what sort of distance are you talking about, what sort of conditions etc ?

     

    Two things that jump to my mind is either a PIR or an ultrasonic distance sensor, but without more details i'm not sure how applicable these suggestions are.
