New to Arduino and could use some advice

Gday guys I am new to arduino and could use someone pointing me in the right direction. I have been searching and researching but i just cant find what i am after.

Basically I am building an R2D2 and my first project will be to get him and the dome moving. At the moment i have 2 razor motors for the feet, 1 jaycar motor for the dome, 2 sabertooth Rc edition motor drivers, and an arduino Uno. I would love to go down the xBee route so that I can design my own Rc Remote.

If someone could point me in the right direction to a project, discussion, whatever, I would be most appreciated.

Hey Paul - I'm neck deep in work, unfortunately, so I'll just quickly mention that the O'Reilly book Building Wireless Sensor Networks, by Robert Faludi, is an excellent resource for XBee and Arduino stuff.

I am new to it all, I am sure I could work out the motors but i thought there may already be a project out there similar that I could use for reference/learning.
