i want to bulid a robotic car ..i need help to choose the motor and other components which can be driven through my arduino uno

I would highly recommend the Arduino Motor Shield http://arduino.cc/en/Main/ArduinoMotorShieldR3 it can control x2 motors up to 12V 2A per channel. It realy depends on what configuration you want.
