This may seem simple to some but i'm a bit confused where a resistor needs to be placed in line with a LED?
Example. I'm completely new to Arduino, electronics I'm ok with but been a while (well since High School) where I did any circuit building.
So I've done a simple breadboard with the Uno and started with the simple Blink LED with a 220ohm Resistor.
(I've done other like motor/servo etc)
Now I want to see how I can get this as a standalone project to learn about Eagle and PCB design. So I've been looking at some schematics online to help me design but some show thr resistor on the GND side of an LED and connected to GND. But a few I've seen show the resisitor on the + Side of the LED connected to pin 13. i.e.
UNO P13 ------- resistor 220ohm --------- LED --------- GND
UNO P13 ----------- LED ------------ resistor ---------- GND
Is there a standard I should follow? (I'm thinking the resistor on positive to limit current to LED to stop burn out?)
