yes, it is possible. But not directly with the card. You can use midi instruments connecting them with the raspi usb port and then use midi software to play the sound using the wolfson card. It is even possible to play the tunes in realtime with low latency. This requires to compile your own kernel with realtime preemption and the wolfson kernel modules to get access to the audio card.
