3 Question on EasyVR

1.-When you use the EasyVr Command, what does it store?intensity of the sound in voltage (y axis) against samples (x axis)?

2.-What is the transfer data between the tx and rx wires connecting arduino and the EAsyVR shield?

3.-for example when I forward, the easyVr shield compare the forward to the stored commands. If one similar to forward, the EasyVr shield send the address to the arduino which is the  first voice command so 0000 0001 is send from the tx pin of the EasyVr shield to the arduino.

    Hi,

     

    1 - EasyVR requires a fixed level input of audio so it will only run the algorithm for the voice components not the audio level.

    2 - EasyVR Commander uploads and downloads configurations using the serial port as for Arduino if using the shield version, but requires a switch/jumper to switch between standard arduino programming to EasyVR commander. But the recognition uses another serial data link to input the recognized voice command to deal with.

    The EasyVR is propriety algorithm, I don't know what is used. All the speech recognition is set in the on-board chip. Serial command from the EasyVR provide the activation for the Arduino to do something, either interrupt or free running, I have not fully determined. I have not had enough time to continue with the project at this stage, so I have not much more information at hand.
