Infineon Shield Q/A

I would like to suggest this place for the exchange of information on this shield. I noticed a Google shows very little practical information, other than recent news announcing the shield. Since I am first, here is my question:

 

How are people going to power these and what input voltages/output voltages are expected?

  • is anyone seeing issues with color mixing? Except the primary red, green and blue, other colors don't seem to mix very well. i don't thinI its an issue with led strip itself because when I use the strip with the remote it came with, the colors look right. For example yellow. If you set red and green to equal high intensity and blue to 0, the theory is i should be seeing yellow. I see green at full intensity and the red LED at kind of half brightness. The result is a green light . Not yellow. Anyone else facing issues with color mixing ?
