I need help!

matija.martinec

So i myself am a big arduino fanboy, I spend more than 2h a day learning something new with arduino, but how can I get others (mostly my friends) interested too.

NOTE - they mostly don't like ,as they call it "smart stuff", but if I could somehow only show them cool stuff you can do with it, but I have no idea how image.I would really like to do some kind of a club in which we could have fun and learn stuff.

the only problem is that they really don't do anything else than drinking Might be time to find a new set of friends. The old saying about leading a horse to water, but you can't make them drink, applies…

Matija, What do your friends do? Find something they do and you can naturally incorporate the Arduino. Like a door bell that when you push plays your favorite MP on a speaker! The Arduino should be able…

Hi Matija, Another idea is to look around and see if you can find some new friends who do share your interests. I spent a lot of time trying to get my friends interested in electronics but for the most part they did not share my enthusiasm. Someone who likes and gets good at electronics is somewhat rare.

Thank you, that is a great idea man, but the only problem is that they really don't do anything else than drinking. I tried to show them automation of my room - nothing, controling al 5x5x5 rgb led cube - nothing, but sometimes they seem to be interested in some things like that but it is rare just as you said :/

Once again thank you man image.

    Hi Matija,

I would be interested in seeing some of the things you have done with the Arduino. When it comes to Arduino I am a beginner. I bet I could learn some new things from you.

Might be time to find a new set of friends.

The old saying about leading a horse to water, but you can't make them drink, applies here (although they already drink).

See if there electronics or robot clubs in the area.

If you are confident you may be able to talk to your local school about assisting with electronics, perhaps as an after school activity.

Some people are just not into electronics no matter how cool, easy, interesting or useful it is, despite using it every day.

I plan on doing a lot of things related to Arduino and Raspberry Pi, just as soon as I refine stuff to look nice, you know for the style points image
