I am working on a simple ir remote. I have made the transmitter using a 555 timer ic that transmits modulated ir light using an ir led. I am facing a problem with the receiver circuit. I have the following SM0038 ir receiver. The problem is that I don't know how to make the receiver circuit and i don't have any knowledge about how to use this receiver. I just want to connect an led with the receiver that should light up when the receiver receives the signal. Please can anyone help
