Help W/Wireless Audio Transmitting & Receiving

Former Member
Former Member over 10 years ago

I am trying to find a DIY way to wirelessly send an audio signal from my mp3 player to an amplifier.

Would the Arduino have the power/ability to handle this?

If so what *ALL* would I need to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also attached a hand drawn diagram of what I am trying to do.

Thank You,

Sean

    How about this:

    • Store the mp3 on an Raspberry Pi Model B+.
    • Connect a wireless dongle to Pi
    • Connect a shield like cirrus to play sounds/mp3 to your speakers
    • When you want to play, use phone to send message to play any MP3 store on a SD card. You could have hundreds of them.

    Hi Clem,

    Good idea!

I tried something similar here - but still need to write some application to control music from devices : )

I think software already exists (called MPD) with control apps for Android etc., or web interfaces, just never tried it..
