Is the display a 16x2 Alphanumeric LCD?
I would suggest removing the connector and soldering on some wires.
The photos don't tell much, but from the part number on the chip I have been able to find the following data sheet.
There is very little information about this (that I can find) on the web.
You may be able to work through the datasheet and match pinout of the IC to that connector. The common LCD libraries may well work with this chip, but on the other hand you might need to do some serious work adapting the libraries.
If the display is a 16x2 aplha-numeric, give some thought about wether you have the technical experience/confidence to work with this LCD, or wether the time would be best spent working on the many compatible models available to the hobbyist.
