Speaker Project: Making a Bluetooth portable speaker.....Please Help

the_future
the_future over 10 years ago

My two main questions are:

* What are the latest/best components out there today for making any type of Bluetooth audio speaker (one that can play music from your phone)?

AND

*What is the best way to go about making an bluetooth speaker? (please include any of the following, programming, circuit diagrams, links, videos and general advice )

So, you are looking to build a BT speaker but are asking for the schematics, code, etc ... ? Where's the fun in that ? Perhaps you could start by telling what research you have done and how far you got…

Of course it is, but you can't expect to be spoonfed the entire project. Typically, you would do some research of your own, which can get you started and will most likely result in more specific questions…

Perhaps you could start by telling what research you have done and how far you got ? People could then help with specific questions you may have.

    Hey Frederick,

we can add only just a general advice... To make a bluetooth speaker on Arduino you need Arduno + bluetooth + speaker. Then, study the stuff, make a (lot of) tries and discover new (fantastic) things. Time by time, ask us and we are happy to answer.

    Hi,

I am aware that you are a beginner, but - don't offend - to orient yourself, asking something less general and more contextual to the problem, I suggest that you should at least try to explore the documentation that you find online, search for code, try to add to your sketch and see what happens, find errors, try please. Despite irony, you really needs just a Bluetooth and an Arduino, move one step ahead, make your project growing and find the solution by yourself with the helpful support of the plenty of users you can find here happy to support and help. suggest etc.

Why are you two not helping me, please just help me by answering my question.

I didn't expect paragraphs of criticism. I find I learn best through watching or seeing

an example first. Is this website not all about growing your skills and learning in a

    way that suits you?

Of course it is, but you can't expect to be spoonfed the entire project. Typically, you would do some research of your own, which can get you started and will most likely result in more specific questions. Figuring things out is part of the learning process.

Searching online, it seems like there are plenty of resources to get you started. Have you tried any of them? If yes, why are they not suited for what you are trying to achieve?

The rewards are far greater when you do the leg work!  You do not even need an arduino board to build a portable BT speaker.  have you looked through instructables.com?  This is a good starting point to get oriented on what you may need...  if it's your first one i wouldn't be worried so much on buying the best speakers etc...  the quality of the enclosure is just as important.  you might want to start with a small prototype and prove your design before going out and spending the big buck on expensive hardware...
