Arduino and USB

Hello,

I have a 3D printer that connect to my PC and that creates a virtual COM port via USB.

I want to be able to plug it to an arduino and communicate with it.

I saw that it exist an USB Host for Arduino but I didn't find a library to do what I want.

Do you have any idea ?

If you do switch to another system that runs Linux then there's always http://octoprint.org/ that pretty much does everything you need.

My printer (M3D) is not compatible with Octoprint but I'll check the other links.
