arduino to arduino wireless communication

Hello,

 

i am working on a project that requires wireless control of 5 servos,,first analog values are taken form sensors and transmitted.

i am new to working with arduino, and do not have much knowledge about wireless arduino comm.

how can i achieve this?

    srry ,,i forgot to mention ,

     

    for this project range of  around 10-15 feet would suffice

    ,basically i jus want a transmiiter/reciever function with more channels

    There are many ways to do it, an old (but known working) method is called 'pulse position modulation'.

    Anyway, since it is your project, you should read up on it - as a hint, it was a very popular way of transmitting multiple

    values for radio control models (which is essentially the same thing as controlling multiple servos) so you

    could search for that  type of web page or book.

    To do it, any simple transmitter and receiver can be used, and an Arduino at each end for instance.

    Here are example low-cost transmitters and receivers:

    FM-RTFQ1-433 - RF SOLUTIONS - RF MODULE, TRANSMITTER, FM, 433MHZ | Farnell element14

    FM-RRFQ1-433 - RF SOLUTIONS - RF MODULE, RECEIVER, FM, 433MHZ | Farnell element14

     

    There are other more modern ways to do it too, but as a first-year student perhaps this is a good way.

    Otherwise, as you say, there are methods using modules such as Xbee ones etc. too.
