Kits for the book "Exploring Arduino, Tools and Techniques for Engineering Wizardry"

I just bought the book, "Exploring Arduino, Tools and Techniques for Engineering Wizardry", ISBN 978-1-118-54936-0.

On page xxi, it states "This book's partner, Newark element 14, has created kits specially designed for the contents of this book.  You can even use the coupon code at the back of this book to get a discount.".

I cannot find this coupon code.  I contacted 2 people at the web site and neither one knows what kits are available for the book or where the coupon code is in the book.

I sent J. Blum an email, but he states that he can't respond to all the emails.

I realize I can buy parts separately, but the promise of available kits is why I bought the book.

I would appreciate any information anyone has regarding this.

Alan

I appreciate the feedback from the community and Mr. Blum. I was able to find the parts associated with the book. The few parts that are mentioned in the chapters that are not in the kit seem to be common…

There is a link to the bundles here:

The specified item was not found.

although it appears to be restricted to certain regions

If you go to this page:

    http://www.exploringarduino.com/parts/

and select the components in turn it has links to Newark part codes

Also there are some tutorial videos in Element14 that follow along closely with the book here:

You can also follow along with some of the projects in the book using the on-line Arduino / breadboard simulator at:

    https://circuits.io/

Not all components in the book are available there but there are plenty to get you started with.

I appreciate the feedback from the community and Mr. Blum.  I was able to find the parts associated with the book.   The few parts that are mentioned in the chapters that are not in the kit seem to be common components that we can pick up at any local electronics suppliers.

Again, thank you all for your quick responses.

He was good, which was one of the reasons why Google took a serious interest in him, and hired him. I had a quick exchange once while talking about the "next" Arduino book, and enjoyed every second of it.
