Does my arduino LCD needs soldering?

Hi!

I recently bought a arduino starter kit and it comes with an LCD screen which has the holes for pins and comes with some pins im a beginer at arduino so im really not intersted in ruining my components.

Yes, you will need to solder the pins to the pads of your LCD. Sparkfun has a tutorial on how to do through hole soldering https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/how-to-solder-through-hole-soldering which will hopefully help you through the process.
