SD Card data logging

Is it possible to carry a form of register on an SD Card, to which anyone can add information regularly with the information automatically posted to a different, PIN protected file, in the same SD card, but with the file protected by PASSWORD such that the File is only accessible to higher level authority?

Hi Zivanayi, More than one message on the same topic is considered spam. Secondly, you can do anything in software. You're free to create any file with encryption, provided you can code it.

Pardon my failure to communicate clearly. I was asking if anyone can help me to create the kind of software for the purposes that I outlined.

    Kind Regards.

    Hi Zivanayi,

It's possible, but I doubt anyone will do this for free. I could be wrong. Normally people suggest ideas, or help investigate a particular area in the code that might not be functioning, or point you to an existing similar project if they have come across it. If you were looking to hire someone, you'll need to make that clear (and this isn't a jobs site).

I understand. Its only that I have come across some people who do help if one has a problem. Actually the lead that I had followed to register on this site was an educational video (Tutorial 11 for Arduino- SD Cards and Datalogging_low).  Thats what had led me to think that I could get some enlightenement from the site, but as you highlighted, I was wrong to think that way. Thank you for your time and enlightement.

    Kind Regards

This article may be of interest to you:

Swissbit to highlight security-enabled memory at embedded world | Smart2.0

Swissbit have SD cards with built in encryption hardware and judging by that article, it looks like they demonstrated using it on the Arduino platform at this year's Embedded World expo.

Swissbit demonstrates how boot processes and user data can be protected by hardware on various single-board computers such as Arduino, ESP32, Wandboard and RaspBerry Pi.

Sparkfun had a 'cryptoshield' at one time. It's now discontinued but just thought I'd mention it.

    https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/13183

There is a link to Josh Datko's web site http://datko.net/  who was involved with the design, so you could perhaps follow up there to see if there is anything still active with that project and if it may suit your requirements.
