Plz help me to find a specific human recognition sensor

Im planning to start a new project

I need a sensor which could recognise humans specifically

A brief explanation: i need to count how long did every individual person spent in the lecture hall (time entered the lecture hall and time left the lecture hall)

I hope you have ethics approval for this and perhaps a good privacy policy. There isn't really a "human recognition sensor" as such, but a few people have done work using cameras and facial recognition (e.g. through use of OpenCV or similar computer vision techniques). Unfortunately, the accuracy can be rather limited depending on how sophisticated your software is. Other than that, you might need to "equip" your humans with credentials that can be tracked (e.g. RFID tags) which can be read at the entrances/exits. Unfortunately, it's hard to get a fool-proof result that doesn't require at least some co-operation from the members being monitored. Others have used signals from BLE fitness bands, Wi-Fi equipped devices as a proxy for number of people/time spent in area. - Gough

We do seem to get a few of these sort of questions. They often seem to me like someone's just pasted in an assignment from their coursework and are expecting someone else to do it for them. Why not start with what you've considered so far and maybe ask some specific questions about the details?
