Hi Everyone,
The Arduino Uno has been on the marked for 10 years, so is a bit dated by now. We feel that the Future of Arduino is in ARM Cortex based boards.
It took Arduino over a year from first announcement to entering the market with the Arduino Zero (AKA Arduino M0 Pro and M0) but it is finally available now.
We have launched one of the first Arduino Zero compatible boards on Kickstarter:

Why the Autonomo? Well it is specifically built for the Internet of Things. In sleep it draws less than 30uA. It has serial flash and an SD card on board for data logging.
You can use a wide array of different 'bee' style communication modules with it (Xbee, GPRSbee, etc.) and it has a solar charge controller so it can run on a tiny solar panel:
Here it is next to the Arduino M0.
Thanks for your attention and welcome to our Kickstarter page.
