devices running 2.3.4 and above that support accessory mode, this is poorly documented on the arduino ADK page but a link is provded to the google documentation.
Unfortunatly, I'd ordered my ADK and run a 2.2 android phone before spotting this key requirement, but the arduino is still a useful gadget to have on hand.
