Possibly not Arduino, but I've exhausted other solutions (or at least myself chasing other solutions) to build blue tooth transciever to permit use of blue tooth hearing aids with vhf radio, etc.

I have Phonak hearing aids and an a paired Phonak bluetooth transciever and would like to able to access a number of my older eletronic devices, e.g., desk phone, vhf radio, Macintosh receiver, etc.. I've just learned about the Arduino from my son (signed me up for MAKE:) and don't know enough to know whether the Arduino is an appropriate platform.

Help.

Not sure this is the right forum, or how an Arduino Microcontroller is going to help.

Apart from the phone, would something along these lines suit the other devices mentioned.

For the phone and vhf radio I need transceiver capability, not just a one way transmitter.

I'm in the dark about the capabilities and limits of Arduino, but looking at MAKE it seems like this platform can do just about anything. It's a long shot, but I had to take it.
