Book for Starter Kit?

jkerr
jkerr over 12 years ago

As a newbie wanting to learn about Arduino, I purchased the "UNO Board w/Starter Kit" that is shown on the group's welcome page.  It looks like it is the kit of parts and an UNO board that comes with the Arduino Starter Kit that is shown on Arduino's products page, but without the book.  Does anybody know if the book is available separately?  Thanks.

I dont know of a book but  Jeremy Blum has some vids that will hellp you through.

I also have a blog about my flight simulator and it has a series about the arduino. http://phoenixcomm.wordpress.com

But if can put 12bucks together I think that TI Stellaris Launchpad is a better bet. has a huge manual and you can use CCS5 (their version of Eclipse) image

Jacob, I've also sent inquiries about this to a few other places.  If I find out anything I'll let you know.

Having reviewed a couple fo books, from my beginning to more advanced, I'd suggest the Arduino Cookbook 2nd edition.

You'll find you will pickup stuff really quick, and this book will keep you going as you get more experience.

N.B.  I know of at least one person working with keyboards who really needs to read pages 402 to 415.

Thank you all who posted suggestions.  They were all very helpful.  Although I still haven't found the specific book I was looking for, your suggestions have provided me with enough excellent material that if I did find that book I wouldn't have time for it.

    Thanks again.
