Are there any slow-paced, easy to understand tutorials on arduino for beginners who understand very little about code?

    Hi Liam,

There are tons of sites which provide tutorials on Arduino. You can visit the Arduino website.

There is also another site www.freeduino.org, which has lots of links about different things to do with Arduino/Freeduino platform.

There are also many beginners books as well,

And if you want dedicated step by step DIY tutorials with lotsa of samples and interesting projects with videos

Then i can recommend you my book freeduino.begin(), the ultimate beginners guide to Freeduino/Arduino platform. There is an edition for iPad and paperback edition as well. You can visit www.bhashatech.com/BOOKS

    Cheers

    Siddharth

    I suggest Adafruit http://learn.adafruit.com/category/learn-arduino

Also John Boxall's excellent site http://tronixstuff.wordpress.com/tutorials/

Terry King has some great instructions specific to various devices http://arduino-info.wikispaces.com/GettingStarted-Software

    Jeremy Blums site http://www.jeremyblum.com/category/arduino-tutorials/

    The official site http://arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/HomePage

The Freeduino site just points back to the official site for tutorials.

    There are many good books.

I have reviewed the Arduino Cookbook ver2, and it caters for novice as well as experienced.

Its the first book that turns it araound and starts from a problem, and then suggests solutions.

Unlike some other books, I believe it may be loose on the web.
