LED connected to pulsesensor

hi!
i'm working on arduino for university. I connected arduino to e pulse sensor and some LED.
i want the light not to blink like the heartpulse, but to get more or less intense. if the heartbeat gets faster the light brights up, if it gets slower it gets darker (without blinking or fading). some ideas of which code i could use?

    Hi Laura,

     

    If you are getting the pulse value as a number (say 0 - 255), you can just output it to the LED using pwm. If the more likely rate is from 50-150 you can use mapping to change it to a value from 0-255 to output.

    If you get a notification every time there is a heart pulse, then you need to track the amount of time since the last pulse and convert it to the Heart Rate.
