Programming AVR with USBASP V2.0

brv64
brv64 over 11 years ago

I want to program my Attiny85 with the USBASP v2.0 but i can't get any IDE.

I've read some post of Installing the Eclipse with the AVR Plug in, but I can't get it to work.

Also I tried with mikroC Pro for AVR, and still can't make it work with the USASP V2.0

I Already Installed the WinAVR

What can I do?

If you have an Arduino UNO, you can set this up to program other ATMEGA chips, this is not exactly what your asking but it will get you going http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-program-attiny-using…

Oh and the IDE from the Arduino site should also suffice to program the Tiny chips, the instructions with the link should provide you the relevant info

You can use avrdude with this command (avrdude -c usbasp -p AVRChipModel -U directory/to/.hex)

Here is a good tutorial on using avrdude.

    Good luck,
