74HC595 and Relay board question

Ok, I have ordered this relay board:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181293241640?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I currently have a circuit and program running on my arduino which uses a 595 shift register to control 8 LEDs

I would like to replace the LEDs with this relay board.

Is there anything else I will need to put between the 595 and the relay board control pins or should this be plug and play?

The use for this is to control 5V and 12V lighting that is dispersed throughout my house.

I have 5 channels currently of lighting I am going to use the relays as follows:

Relay 1 will be power supply main power (using an ATX power supply so this will only control the trigger wire of that power supply the Arduino and relay board will be powered by the standby power.

then 5 chanels of lighting 2 of which are 5V being used to power WS2812 lights and the control board for them and the other 3 are for "dumb" LED light strips that are simply on/off

the last 2 relays I am hooking up as room for expansion

So is there anything I need between 595 and the relay board? it already has optoisolators. It says 15-20ma trigger current at 5v

Should I run the vcc of the relay board from the arduino or directly off the 5v standby rail of the power supply?

If I want to put indicator LEDs on the surface of what I am using as the housing for the power supply should I put them on the signal side or on the relay switched side?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any and all assistance.

    Another minor question...

When I power on my board initially with my current setup (using LEDs only) the 595 turns on all LEDs till the sketch begins and clears them

Any idea how to stop this from happening?

I don't want it unnecessarily turning on lights if the power blinks or something like that
